Triest, where I live, is a very windy city, we have a wind called
Bora that is very cold and hard.
We are having the worst Bora's days from years at the moment, there are about 2 weeks that the wind never give up, and we all are exausted, because in general there aren't more than 4 -5 following days of wind.

There is also very chilly outside, so I was enough lucky to was inside the last week because of neck pain, my doctor kept me at home from work.

I was very happy when I finished my
Levenwick, just in time for those windy and cold days, I wore it under my feather jacket and it is so comfy and kept me very warm.

I really loved knitting this cardigan.
Gudrun Johnston designed a great pattern. It's easy to follow and I enjoyed it from the beginning to the end. I found the instruction to make button hole very genial, and it will be my referring for button's band from now on.

Levenwick il week end prima di tornare a lavorare, giusto in tempo per questi giorni freddissimi, l'ho indossato sotto il piumino e devo dire che è comodo e caldo.
Eccolo.
Mi è piaciuto tantissimo knittare questo cardigan.
Gudrun Johnston ha disegnato un bellissimo modello. Facile da seguire e me lo sono goduta dall'inizio alla fine. Ho trovato geniale e molto ben spiegata la parte per fare le asole, penso che adotterò questo metodo laddove possibile d'ora in poi.

Two word about the yarn.I used the
Shelter from Brooklyn Tweed. Well, I'm not really convinced about this yarn, while knitting it seems to be very fragile, it breaks easily and I had to be careful to not pull it too much. As pros I can say that once it is knitted the piece is very warm and I really love how turned the finished garment.

Due parole sul filato.
Ho usato la
Shelter di Brooklyn Tweed. Bene diciamo che non sono del tutto convinta, mentre lavoravo a maglia ho avuto l'impressione che la lana sia abbastanza fragile, si spezza facilmente, ho dovuto stare attenta a non tirare troppo e nonostante ciò qualche volta sono rimasta con il capo della lana spezzato in mano, secondo me ha la tendenza ad infeltrire. Di buono c'è che una volta finito il tessuto risulta piacevole al tatto, consistente e molto caldo. Il risultato mi piace, ma non so come reagirà ai lavaggi, specie se frequenti. staremo a vedere.
